My goal in my mixed media lessons this year is to reach further and interpret each lesson rather than simply following directions. Although I still come across techniques I haven't experienced, I have already learned and used many. I want to do less copying or following the teachers' directions verbatim, and more using the teachers' example as direction for my own inspiration. We'll see how that goes.

DeleteFun pieces! My old eyes first read "toned paper" as "toilet paper", and I thought, well that's interesting. :D
ReplyDeleteYou just never know! There might be something interesting I could do with some paint and some toilet paper! ha ha ha!
