A Wedding at the base or El Capitan in Yosemite on a clear blue-sky day... Pretty high on the list of possible venues, I'd say.
(It probably helps secure the spot when the groom was one of the National Park Service park rangers there.)

ReplyDeleteBack in our day... (Yes, I hear myself sounding old.) Back in our day, there wasn't much choice for venues... a church or the courthouse. Now, choosing the right venue is a big part of wedding planning!
DeleteRe: your comment to Wendy - yes that's so true. I never once thought about marrying anywhere but my little church. I have no idea where I would pick in today's world. But anyway, that is such a neat painting. Did you add the log, or was it in the photo? (Assuming you painted from a photo).
