Candy Kisses

Do you get a lot of kisses on Valentine's Day?

I do.  Teachers get more than our quota of chocolate at the Valentine's party.  I like chocolate, but I don't crave it like I know some people do.

Here's what I do with all the kisses I get.
 1st - Lay out a bunch of  Snyder's Snaps
(square waffle shaped) Pretzels on a cookie sheet.
2nd - Put an unwrapped Hershey's Kiss on each one.
3rd - Cook them about two minutes.
4th - Squash another Snaps on top of each melty Kiss.
5th - Put them on waxed paper in a plastic container.
6th - Keep them in the freezer.
7th - Enjoy one when you need a little sweet & salty bite.

She Said YES!

Will you marry me?

Awwww.....   So many ways these four little words have been proposed...  (When I heard them I was sitting on a park bench.)

I see a past, present, and future in this image.  A big kiss for theYES right now.  A ride through the mud in Grandpa's old truck for back then.  And, a hillside in the Ouachitas for a home someday...

Kiss on the Path

Where do you suppose that this path leads?

I loved this image from the first time I saw it.  I love the story it tells... kind of metaphorical, I suppose... A young couple in love and at the very beginning of their life together. They can see just a little way down the path, but the rest is... down the road...

Mama's Kiss

I love this little bright-eyed baby. I think it's pretty clear that his Mama does too. I hope she takes every opportunity to give him kisses. In no time at all, he'll think he's too big.

Guess what... I remember when it was this Mama that was being cuddled and kissed on the cheek!
