I like our new bird feeder. It shows us birds who've been visiting.
It also tells what kind of bird and how often they've visited.
but it didn't recognize this species...

Yes, Amaryllis are a pleasure to watch in the winter!
ReplyDeleteAren't they fun! I started buying one for my dad each year for Christmas. I've just kept buying one for myself ever since.
DeleteFun bird feeder! I need one of those. Funny, we have that odd variety of birds here too!
ReplyDeleteYou mean that furry-tailed kind? Ummm-Hmmm...
DeleteThat is a pretty tomato dish - I love the curviness. What a cool bird feeder! But it needs sound in case one of your visitors wants to leave a message.
ReplyDeleteI have two of those dishes and use them often. I got them from a student as a teacher gift years ago. And, yes!! The bird feeder does have a microphone! Some of the birds are noisy-chirpy eaters!
DeletePaint night looks like fun. I got my first amaryllis this year - I'm curious how it will bloom! That is one big fuzzy looking bird! LOL
ReplyDeleteI usually like the big bright red amaryllis. This year I got a pinkish one... I'll go back to bright red next year. The fuzzy ones... sigh... we have a lot of those, and they think every feeder is just for them!
DeleteI like your chickens too! Your strange bird species cracked me up! I have those same "birds" visiting my feeders. Lol! I brought my amaryllis up from the basement but nothing has happened yet. I'll keep watering and hoping!
ReplyDeleteThose amaryllis are tricky and have minds of their own. I've kept some and enjoy their fast growing leaves year after year. Once the leaves get too long, I just chop them all the way down. But, last summer... surprise!!! One of them opened up with the biggest reddest blooms I've ever had.
