Willowing Arts: A Year of Magic Taster Sessions (11-20)

Watercolor & Pen
Gathering (fairy) inspiration from what might be outside in the yard
Acrylics
Using only 4 colors: 2 browns, red, white
Colored Pencils
Craft Paint

Acrylic on paper, then gesso over negative space

Collaged notecards, then ink over negative space.
Story cards, showing what 's personally important.
Watercolor in blobs then inks to find floral possibilities.

Markers, overlapping doodling

Gesso mixed with baby powder
Applied then scratched to remove creating runes

Collage with acrylic, papers, stencils, pictures, doily
Let some images/words escape the border of the picture

    1. Variety is right! I suppose I've yet to become that artist that finds one thing she does well and sticks to doing it over and over. Although, perhaps those are the artists who find a niche and make money doing it! (Ha ha... I'm okay with that.)

  2. My goodness you do a lot of painting. Or it seems that way to me. They are all fun, but that last collage is really neat. And if I see a squirrel being ridden by a fairy in my yard, I'm moving. ;)

    1. Yeah, I do a lot of painting (and piddling around) in my art space. Now that Ron's home full time and doing some of the day-to-day chores, it seems like I have more time available for it. Did you hear me laugh out loud when I read about the squirrel riding fairies!? (lol)
