Willowing Arts : A Year of Light 2025 (March)

Every Sunday night another 2-3 new lessons arrive in my inbox.
I loved these lessons from March.
Besides learning and practicing mixed media skills, I love listening to the accents from the Willowing Arts teachers who live and teach from different countries.

    1. Do you mean the butterfly? or the one with the poppies? I'm thinking you mean the one with poppies. That's from a lesson from Laly Mille. I LOVE her collaged journal pages. I agree with you... so satisfying.

    1. I just never know what the lessons will bring each week. Yes, there is so much variety in technique, in skill level, in subject matter.

  4. Your first painting is amazing! I love the power confidence and strength shining from this lovely bird! Wow…
Such depth in your young lady’s eyes…I wonder what she is preparing to say?
Doesn’t your third painting also make you wonder what she is thinking about?
The little girl reaching for the stars makes me want to cheer her on!
And the tiger admiring nature rather than hunting – a rare side of this beautiful animal displayed.
Thank you for sharing! I shared your post with an artist friend of mine. 😊

  5. I love listening to accents too! Years ago I watched a series on PBS that showed idiosyncrasies between speakers in the northeast US similar to some in the UK. Another group of terrific pieces here!

    1. I think I love accents so much because, to my mind anyway, I don't have any accent at all... (Ahem... pause while those who hear me speak are choking and guffawing at that...)
