Another month, another batch of lessons.
Seven different teachers from all around the world with their lovely accents and their techniques and skills to share. I completed of the February lessons and am ready for the next round!
Watercolor, pen & ink, acrylics, paint pens, colored pencils, masking fluid, stencils...
I read this (on the internet, so it must be true):
Studies have shown
that people who have a ridiculous amount of art supplies
live longer than those who point it out.
What new medium used has surprised you, finding that you enjoy it?
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised that I've grown to understand watercolor and how it works a little better. I was surprised to discover Posca pens (an acrylic paint pen) and love that it helps me fix not-so-great parts on painting. I've come to enjoy the process of collage very much.
DeleteIf you've already completed your assignments, which medium would you choose to use again? Or all of them?
ReplyDeleteI better go back and see if I need to reword something. I just meant that I'd completed those for this month. There will be more to come. I get a new lesson or two every Monday.
DeleteI'm intrigued by each medium and am becoming more comfortable with each one. But, oil painting always calls me back after a bit of time away.
