I've finished 499 paintings since my first lesson on 2/22/07.
I want to share some of my favorites this week.

"Pink Primroses on the Porch" |
"Light Yellow Sunflower" |
"Tulip" |
"Dogwood" |
"Almost Surreal Water Lily Pond" |
"Hollyhocks" |
"Sentimental Stargazer Lilies" |
Hollyhocks take me back to my childhood. As I recall my mother had a love/hate thing for them. I think she thought they were pretty, but once planted they were difficult to get rid of? Not sure, but a vague memory. At any rate, I love the hollyhock piece! And the rest as well!
ReplyDeleteThe think I love most about that particular painting is that I used a lot of painting and a palette knife for some of it. I like to touch it as much as look at it.
